Here is what you do if you can't join your friends multiplayer game
Make sure Steam is open when you open the game
Still not working?
Change your Steam region
To do this you will need to open Steam and go to the top left onto steam and click on settings
You will get the settings screen now. Go to the "Download" tab, and open up the "Download Region" drop down menu.
Make sure that your friend also does these steps to make sure that you both have the same region set.
You should now be able to play with your friends in game. Enjoy!
